One door closes, another opens. Word reaches us on HotelChatter’s last day that the long-awaited Mandarin Oriental Milan is now open.
104 rooms (of which 31 are suites) are spread over four 18th-century buildings round the corner from La Scala. The design, by Milan-based Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Interiors, is every bit as sleek, classic and chic as you’d imagine.
